Privacy Policy

1. Data stored in your browser

Settings, color history, notes and the license key are stored locally in your browser and are not sent to our servers. You can delete them at any time in the extension or by uninstalling the extension.

2. Access to pages

The extension reads the content of a page only after you click a tool. Toolbox Max (11 tools) does not ask for access to all sites. Toolbox Max for Developers may ask for it optionally, for the tools that need it. Scan results stay on your device. Automatic saving of copied text to the notepad is off by default, you turn it on yourself, and it skips password and sensitive-data fields.

3. Data sent to a server

Only two cases: (a) the Pro license key, to check that it is active; (b) text that you select and submit for correction with the “Fix Text” feature (Pro). We send it to the AI model provider solely for proofreading. We do not store or log the text.

4. Requests to linked addresses

The “Link Checker” tool sends requests from your browser to the addresses found on the page being checked, to learn their status. We do not send them to ourselves.

5. What we don't do

We do not track users, we do not use analytics or ads, and we do not sell or share data.

6. Payments

Pro purchases are handled by Paddle (the merchant of record). Payment details go to Paddle, not to us.
